- From the name, the purpose of this package might not be apparent. Turns out it's very useful. Copies a Puppy .img to a USB Drive and makes it bootable. More information available on the forum.

- 'LockState'. Is a tray-based indicator for the more modern keyboards that lack indicator lights to show the state of your 'lock' keys; CapsLock, ScrollLock, NumLock. Fully configurable, and works better in Pup than many of the more established alternatives. Recommended.

- Unlike UExtract, PackIt is not intended to be an ultimate (i.e. millions of supported formats) tool. It's designed to be simple yet flexible. Like UExtract, PackIt is packaged as a ROX right-click app and this is the easier way to use it (right-click or drag'n'drop), however menu entry is also available.

- Converts an SFS file into a PET file. Adds the option to the right-click menu with resulting PET being deposited in ~/my-pets

- swappiness.pet
- Swapiness dials down the tendency to use the swap partition from the default of 60 to around 10, and means that Pup makes better use of your RAM. Very useful.
- TrayControl_v1.0-i686.pet
- MW had nothing better to do one day and thought he would give the bone idle a helping hand. He creates 'TrayControl', an app that puts a CD eject button in the tray. Unfortunately, laptop user will still need to close the CD tray manually.

- In order to ease unpacking of various archive formats, SFR forged One Script to Rule Them All. Well, at least most of them. It's packaged as a ROX right-click app: 'right-click -> Open With -> UExtract'. BTW, each archive will be always extracted to a separate subdirectory. Forum post.
- untar_pet.pet
- A very handy utility that adds an option to the right-click menu and extracts a package into a folder containing the extracted package. Invaluable for examining the contents of packages.
