- Adobe created the PDF Document as well as the reader and here is version 8. At a fairly hefty 40mb download and 110mb installed the SFS version may be a better option if short of HDD space.

- Full Office Suite. Whether everyone needs all of the components is debatable, but contains among others, word-processor, spreadsheet and presentation. Has many languages included.

- Master PDF Editor is an easy to use application for working with PDF documents equipped with powerful functionality. With Master PDF Editor you can easily view, create and modify PDF documents. SFS version available, Requires qt-4.8.6-i686.pet. As this is a modern app it will requrie the Glibc update.

- At a 70mb download, less than half the size of Libre Office, it may be more suitable for some as the only components are word-processor, spreadsheet and presentation.
